DAYONE INNOVATION SUMMITS

The DayOne Innovation Summits are regional events that bring together start-ups, investors, corporations and industry experts to explore today’s biggest innovation challenges. They also set the stage for the presentation of the EmprendeXXI Awards, recognising the most outstanding start-ups in each region.

Following the assessment of applications, five finalists are selected to take part in the main event in each autonomous community. A total of 17 events are held across Spain and one in Portugal, bringing together representatives from CaixaBank, ENISA and regional partner organisations, alongside expert-led sessions with previous winners and a networking reception.

The DayOne Innovation Summit concludes with a grand closing gala, where the national winners of the ‘Tomorrow’s Challenges’ category (Business Transformation, Human & Wellbeing and Living Planet) are announced, together with the runners-up in the Social Impact and Disruptive Innovation categories. The Tomorrow’s Challenges Awards and the Special Awards are promoted by the CaixaBank Group’s divisions and companies, with the aim of creating real impact on society, people and the planet.
